Privacy Policy | Terms | Disclosure
These might not be that fun to read, but you know it and the Stone Head Blog knows these statements are a necessity! Especially because the FTC is really starting to crack down on bloggers so I’m doing my best to adhere to these policies! This blog is my livelihood people!!!
The Stone Head is a blog (aka The Stone Head Blog), created solely by me, Kiersten Vogt, an experienced DIYer, house flipper, landlord, contractor, remodeler, first time homeowner and self diagnosed health nut who’s lost 75 pounds, cured 20+ of my own medical symptoms and gotten rid of most of the unnecessary chemicals in my life (because let’s face it, we can’t get away from them all!)
All opinions and statements on this site are my own, whether you like them or not. However you take my comments, I never mean to offend anyone. I do however, intend to be funny and lighthearted, so you best be laughing.
All tutorials on The Stone Head blog are the result of my own experience. Follow my instructions at your own risk. I am not error-proof. Please contact the manufacturer or a professional. Check on all local laws when doing renovations and SAFETY first! Even though I am the Stone Head and I get hurt 734 times a day, that doesn’t mean I’m not also Sergeant Safety! We only get one of everything on our body…. except our hands, feet, ears, eyes, legs, arms….. um… okay so we only get one or two of everything on our body – so we better take care of them!!
If you’re injured trying something you’ve seen me write about on this site, The Stone Head/Kiersten Vogt/The Stone Head DIY is in no way liable. If a project doesn’t come out the way you hoped, I’ll feel bad for you, but I’m still not liable. Again, safety should always be your first priority.
All pictures on The Stone Head blog are taken by Kiersten Vogt unless otherwise noted. I do my best to watermark each one. Please don’t steal them… I work really hard on my pickature takin’.
SPONSORS
This blog DOES NOT WORK WITH SPONSORS! Have you ever read that before!?! This blog has been going since 2015 and has only ever had one sponsor (albeit an awesome one!!) but it’s not something I feel passionate about because I personally haven’t found a way to authentically insert sponsors into my blog and I want every post to be absolutely positively my own and not even have the idea of having to please a sponsor in the back of my head. Should this change this section will be updated immediately.
AFFILIATE LINKS
I make every effort to disclose when a post contains affiliate links but you can probably just go ahead and assume that every post on The Stone Head blog contains them. It’s kind of the point. I work incredibly hard to bring you detailed tutorials, informative posts and easy to understand answers to your burning questions… then I link to the stuff I actually use, own, want to own or have used in the past and LOVE. An affiliate link means if you buy something after clicking, I’ll earn a small commission with no increase in cost for you. So it’s a win win. I can keep this website running and you get a good product (that I either actually OWN, want to own or have used and love!)
The bottom line is that most of the time, I receive compensation when you buy something from a link on this site. Because let’s face it, that’s how us bloggers earn our income. (And the good ones can earn their income without pimping out their blog.)

However… I LOVE BLUEHOST. It’s the hosting company I use to keep this blog up and running. I’ve never had any complaints, their customer service is great (being a DIY website builder I had to call a few times) and it’s reasonably priced.
